Robert "Bob" Christopherson

August 5, 1951 — June 22, 2024

Robert “Bob” “Chris” Christopherson, 72, of Denver passed away in the comfort of his home with members of his family close by, the morning of Saturday June 22, 2024.

He was born to the late Elmer and Dorothy Christopherson, August 5th, 1951, in Denver CO. A multi generation Coloradan.

Preceded in death by his wife Karen, they were married for over 40 years, together as teenagers, now reunited once again. He is survived by his 2 children Jeffrey (Ana) Christopherson and Shannon (Jeff) Marotz, his beloved grandchildren Robert, Nikolas, Leila and Kayden, his 2 sisters Peggy Christopherson (Joe Holzer) and Terri (Jerry) Heine, and a large extended family of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and Aunts. His family was everything to him.

Raised in and around the Denver area, Bob attended St Mary Magdalene Catholic School, Lakewood Junior High School, and Jefferson High School. He was a hardworking man, with many specialties among the years from carpentry to running heavy equipment for the Union for most of his career. He was a friend to so many, throughout all his days of baseball, bowling, Harley riding, golfing, fishing, and hunting. He also enjoyed riding horses, gardening, and camping. Underneath his sometimes-gruff exterior he had a huge heart and would give you the shirt off his back. He brought a smile to so many faces, always running into someone he knew along the way, and oh the stories he could tell! Whatever it was he was doing, he sure was having fun “just rolling with it”.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, Bob has requested that donations be made to
The National MS Society or the American Cancer Society

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday Aug. 10th, 2024. Details TBD
