Robert J. Crespin III, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025, in Centennial, Colorado, at the age of 61. Born on November 9, 1963, in Denver, Colorado, Robert’s radiant spirit was felt by all who crossed his path, and his legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those left behind.
For over 30 years, Robert worked for Continental Airlines as a Gate Service Agent, where he was treasured by his co-workers, who often described him as “a joy to work with.” His profound ability to make connections with others was unparalleled; Robert was a true people person. He could walk into any room and instantly become the life of the party, sharing laughter and joy through his contagious smile. He had a special talent for nicknaming everyone around him, often forgetting their actual names but never their worth.
Robert’s personality was a blend of fun, love, and kindness. He was generous to a fault, always ready to lend a helping hand or an encouraging word. His unwavering faith and dedication to sharing the teachings of the Lord were an inspiration to many, especially those facing difficult times. He was someone who wore positivity like a badge, reminding everyone around him that “Life is too short, you gotta get over it.”
Despite the challenges he faced as an amputee, Robert never lost his zest for life. He found joy in the great outdoors, passionately hunting and fishing, and he even embraced his adventurous spirit on the slopes during his younger years. Above all, Robert cherished the time spent surrounded by family and friends, whose presence brought him immense happiness.
Robert was surrounded by his loving family, which includes his parents, Robert and Virginia; his cherished sons, RJ and Josh; his brothers Jobe, Anthony, and Joel; his sisters Desiree and Naomi; and his five nephews and six nieces. Each one of them holds precious memories of a man who fought valiantly for life, demonstrating an unbelievable will to live. Robert’s journey was not without its struggles, but he faced each day with strength and hope until he was welcomed home by the Lord.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Christina, whose absence has left a void in the hearts of many, including Robert, who always held her dear.
