He was born on January 23, 1948, in Ipswich Australia to Robert L. Ross and Betty Violet. Once his dad finished his service responsibilities, he moved his family to the bay area of California. Some of his other accomplishments was being involved in the rock-n-roll business for Barry Fey, Pikes Peak Hill Climb, and the Sports Festival in Colorado Springs for several years. His love for photography allowed him to be included with the Colorado Rockies from their inaugural season to 2000. Bob enjoyed watching and supporting the Denver Broncos, and Nuggets, along with the Colorado Rockies and Avalanche. One of his greatest hobbies in life was the restoration of his 1966 Ford Mustang, he loved showing it off at several car shows in Colorado.
