Robert I. "Bob" Haught, Jr., 74, of Aurora, passed away December 24, 2020.
He was born November 19, 1946 in Austin, Texas, the son of Robert and Alice (Holstine) Haught. He was a graduate of high school in Port Arthur, Texas. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Lamar University in Port Arthur, Texas.
He was an Electrical Engineer with the Federal Government and later retired. After retirement, he also became a certified locksmith and then enjoyed dog grooming.
In 1967, he married Katherine Shaunfield.
Bob collected knives. In his younger years, he also enjoyed working on cars. Bob enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially having breakfast with them. Bob also enjoyed building and tinkering with computers.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherine Haught; children, Chris R. (Danyell) Haught, Mark P. Haught and Jason M. (Kellie) Haught; six grandchildren, Sarah, Maryssa, Warren, Alec, Kyia and Myka and 3 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by father, Robert Isaac Haught, Sr. and mother, Alice Patricia Haught.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bob's name to Life Care Center of Aurora.
