Robert " Bobby" Edward Jefferson III was born March 12th, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Robert Leo Jefferson II and Mathilda Chargois Jefferson. He was the oldest of three siblings; Algertice Chargois-Jefferson and Nicolette Marie Dunn (preceded in passing).
Bobby, as he was affectionately known to his relatives, received First Communion and Confirmation sacraments at Our Mother Mercy Catholic Church in Houston TX, where he attended elementary school. He also attended E.O. Smith Junior High School and Wheatley Senior High School, where he was an active member in the JROTC program. Bobby enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduation in 1960 and upon completion of his service was honorably discharged and found his dream job with NASA. He moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1970 and worked for the federal government as a computer programmer until he retired in 1993.
Bobby was a naturally gifted artist and loved painting beautiful landscapes and African art. He had great ideas of what lies beyond the stars. He loved science-fiction books, movies and documentaries. He was an avid outdoorsman; loved the mountains, hunting, fishing and skiing. Those who knew Bobby knew he loved good food. He liked his eggs scrambled soft and his catfish fried hard and his scotch on the rocks.
Bobby leaves to share his memory: His three children Gevais Jefferson-Restivo of Houston TX, Robbie Jefferson Falls of Katy TX, Robert James Jefferson IV of Aurora, CO.; Five Grandchildren: Dominique Jefferson, Monique Jefferson, Jessica Jefferson, Serena Jefferson, Robert Charles Jefferson V (Chaz). His sister Algertice Chargois Jefferson of Houston TX ; two Daughter-in-laws Nora Jefferson , Paula Jefferson-Restivo,; One son-in-law Reginald Falls, Katy TX, and his many nieces and nephews that know him as "Uncle Bobby".
