Robert James Siders

Robert J. Siders, known as Bob, age 77, a Sterling resident for over 20 years, passed away October 20, 2021. Bob was born in Denver, Colorado, on March 31, 1944, to James Robert Smith and Alice Marie Siders. He was adopted by his maternal grandparents, Clarence A. Siders and Josephine Polley Siders in 1952. Bob graduated Englewood High School, Englewood, Colorado in 1962. He served in the US Air Force from 1962 to 1966 and was stationed in Okinawa in 1964. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, his daughter, Heather Siders, and his second wife, Lynn Donner Siders. Bob is survived by his sons, James Siders of Aurora, Colorado, Scott Siders and his wife Natalie and their three children of Boca Raton, Florida, Derek Donner and his wife Tara and their two children of Ogalala, Nebraska, his daughter, Crissy Donner, of Ford, Colorado, and his brother, Albert Siders of Henderson, Nevada, niece Beth Siders, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 1:00pm in Sterling, Colorado at the VFW Hall located at 803 Phelps Street.
