Roberto was born on July 30, 1948 in Paraiso, Panama Canal Zone to the proud parents of Ernest and Margaret Straker. He graduated from Paraiso High School in 1967, then migrated to the United States in 1970, where he resided in Brooklyn, New York.
Roberto was a loving person with a fun, happy personality. He was funny and made people around him laugh a lot. He was a sharp dresser.
Roberto was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Margaret in the year 2000.
Roberto is survived by his wife, Eva Straker; sons, Rogelio and Mario Straker and Jai; daughter, Wendy Elie; also by his siblings, Audrey Straker, Ernesto Straker, Marcela Ricketts and Mario Straker and a host of cousins, aunts and many friends.
