Robin Joseph "Rob" Antrim, 86, of 936 S. Cole Dr, Lakewood Colorado passed away on November 9 after a brief illness.
He was born on February 16, 1936 to Martha Jane Riggs and Burdsall Antrim in Anderson, Indiana. After Rob graduated from North Webster Indiana High School he went on to study at the Indiana University School of Business. He was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity.
After earning a Marketing degree, he started his 25 year career at the Proctor and Gamble company as a sales and marketing manager for the paper products division. He moved to Denver where he was instrumental in opening the the Denver market for P & G paper products.
Later Rob earned certification as a Real Estate broker and worked at the Perry and Butler Agency.
Not ready to retire, he sought a new challenge with the Colorado based Rocky Mountain Sunscreen company where he applied his experience to expand the young company's market share.
In 1962 Rob had met Sophia Kiriakou in Cincinnati Ohio. They fell in love and married a year later. They soon moved to the Green Mountain Estates community where they remained for both of their lives making many lifelong friends along the way. They loved children but having none of their own they became special uncle and aunt to children in the family.
Rob was predeceased by his wife Sophia. They were married 57 years. He is survived by so many nieces and nephews who will cherish their memory.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Newcomer chapel, 901 S. Sheridan, Lakewood on Thursday, January 5th. Burial will be immediately afterward at Crown Hill Cemetery alongside his beloved wife. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Theta Chi fraternity scholarship fund.
