February 24, 1961 — December 23, 2023
Rod MacDonald an Aurora Central high school graduate (1979) passed away December 23rd, 2023, in his Aurora home.
Rod is survived by his wife, Gena Allen of 37 years who will miss him dearly. He will also be greatly missed by his two daughters, Alyse Allen, and Bailie Ogle (Billy Ogle). He was a wonderful father and husband! Rod was a grandfather to adorable granddaughters Aubree Pearman and Elliot Ogle. Rod had a very close relationship with his sister Karen (West) Deitz (Jeff Deitz) who he recently visited in New York. He also enjoyed seeing his nephews Tim and Ryan Deitz while there. Rod is also survived by his Aunt Karen Ballast, a niece Sarah McDole and many friends and family.
Rod enjoyed fishing and watching the Broncos even when he caught no fish and the Broncos lost! He loved going to the Renaissance festival with family.
