Roger Earl Bracken, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Littleton, CO on March 10th, 2024, at the age of 90 years. Roger was born to Carl (Bud) and Betty Bracken on November 24, 1933, in Torrington, WY. He graduated high school in Sidney, MT and went on to earn a degree in Agriculture from Montana State University in 1956. After college, Roger served in the US Army before starting his career as a property manager for the Railroads. After retiring in June, 1994, he was very active with volunteer work for his church, Habitat for Humanity, and a local food bank. He proudly referred to the group he worked with on Habitat homes as the Holy Hammers. Roger was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was always willing to help people and enjoyed the mountains, bike rides, and fishing with the grandkids. Roger was a kind and gentle soul who touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Roger is survived by his wife Diane, his children, Jeff (Lisa), Jennifer (Keith), Niece, Carlie; Nephew, Kevin; Diane's children, Kari (Ravi), Jenifer (Mike), Todd (Addy) and their grandchildren, Caitlin (Lee), Matthew, Derek, Tara, Maya, Monday, Tia, and Samantha. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Betty, brother Gary, and son Brian. A funeral service for Roger will be held on Friday, March 29th at 11:00 AM at St. Philip Lutheran Church with a reception following. Roger will be laid to rest at the Fort Logan Military Cemetery.
