Ronald Wayne Huston

Ronald Wayne Huston was born on November 7, 1953 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to parents Lester and Shirley
Huston. The family moved to Denver in his younger years. He graduated from Bear Creek High School In
1971, attended Arapahoe Community College and then to the banking business school at
Colorado University.
Ron was a natural speaker and leader in the business world. He worked for Denver Public Schools as the Chief Technology Officer, and then retired from the State of Colorado as the Chief Information Officer.
Some of Ron's greatest gifts were helping family and friends with his ability to build and fix anything. He loved to travel and work on his trains when he had free time.
Ron is survived by his wife Cindy of 48 years, his daughter Melissa (husband Ryan and their children, Jack and Emma), and son Sean (wife Nicole and children, Brody and Keegan), and siblings, Steve (Jill) Huston, Robert (Susan) Huston and Mary Struthers.
Funeral Arrangements - October 6, 2022, at St Jude Church of Lakewood, 11am. Reception following. Burial at Golden Cemetery between 2-2:30pm
