Ronald Mccoy

Ronald D. McCoy, 68, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife of forty-three years, Allene McCoy; one son: Jeff McCoy and his wife Stephanie, two grandchildren: Michael and Briana McCoy, all of Parker, CO. He leaves behind; two sisters: Shirley Evans and husband Dale of Cedaredge, CO; Louvella "Jo" Wright of Grand Junction, CO; two brothers: Robert McCoy and wife Marilyn of Grand Junction, CO; Gerald McCoy and wife Audrey of Mt. Perry OH; brother-in-laws: Marlin Barcomb and wife Gloria of Nixa, MO; Herb Edwards and his wife Kris of McComb, IL; Sister in-laws: Sue Straub and husband Al of MI ; Tootsie Edwards of TX; Virginia Edwards of MI; Valerie Dicks and her husband Fred of TN; many nieces, nephews; also, many friends from Colorado and Springfield, MO. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Sage; father, Edward McCoy and sister Bertha Barcomb.

Ron retired from the US Postal Service in October, 2005 after forty years of dedicated service. Prior to entering the US Postal Service, Ron proudly served in the United States Navy from 1957-1967.

Ron loved his family, and was a very devoted husband, father, and grandpa. He enjoyed camping, fishing, listening to music, and was a dedicated Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies fan. He had the ability to make anyone laugh with his contagious smile and quick jokes. Ron will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Dad, we will miss you dearly and we will never forget you, or the wonderful memories you gave us all. We love you.
