Ronald A. Palmerton, 82, of Westminster, died October 16th, 2021. He was born to the late Lloyd and Katherine Palmerton, September 14, 1939, in Bushnell IL. Ron graduated from Evergreen High School. He married Fay Hughes, in 1988.
Ronald, a Denver Fire Fighter, 35 years, starting in the service September 1968 and retiring September 2003, ending his career at Denver International Airport, ARFF. In retirement, he enjoyed going to and participating in car shows, throughout the metro area, with his Mustang.
Ronald is survived by his loving wife Fay and four children: Kay Washburn, of Denver; Kent Palmerton of Arvada, Cory Palmerton of Dillon and Craig Palmerton of Lakewood. Four stepchildren: Donna Lyon of Aurora, Tracy Martinez of Poinciana, FL , Tyree Gleghorn of Augusta, GA, and Robert Hughes of Claremore, OK. He also is survived by five grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Katherine Palmerton, and sister Sondra Norrell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 20th, 2021 at the Stardust Lounge, 5205 Marshall St, Arvada, CO 80002, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., please join us to remember the guy "whose hair was never messed up, and always had a toothpick at the ready".
