Ronald Pless

On Thursday, August 22, 2019, Ronald D. Pless passed away at the age of 62. Ron was born on March 31, 1957, in Denver, Colorado. Ron was one of 12 children of Thomas and Carolyn Pless.

Ron enjoyed collecting Bibles, drawing, and watching movies. Family was very important to Ron, and he loved spending quality time with them. He was a source of strength and love to his children, just as they were for him. They will fondly remember frequent phone calls and visits with their dad and how he'd smile when they came in the room.

Ron will be remembered for his generosity. He often picked out thoughtful gifts for the people in his life, including the many friends he made at the care facility where he spent his last years.

All of us admired Ron's enduring will to live and take care of his family despite battling long-term illnesses. His perseverance and loyalty are qualities that his children will pass on to future generations.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and many of his siblings. He is survived by his brother, Ricky; his children, Ronnie Jr., Trinity, Genesis, and Faith; and his granddaughter, Nevaeh.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 3, at Newcomer Funeral Home West Chapel, 901 South Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood. A viewing will be held prior at 10 am.
