Ronald Dale Schaefer

Ronald Dale Schaefer, 75, of Centennial, Colorado died Monday August 28th. He was born to Frederick and Inez Schaefer, August 30, 1947 in Dixon, Illinois. Ron graduated from Amboy High School. He married Linda Schaefer in 1999 where they lived together in Centennial.
He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force where he worked on SR-71 Blackbird aircraft. Ron then attended Sheet Metal vocational school and built a career for many years installing duct work for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems. After that, he worked for Regional Transportation District as a bus operator. He enjoyed spending time with family, bowling and was a member of the Golden Elks.
Ron is survived by his wife, Linda Schaefer, children, Calli Jo Sims, Brandon Schaefer and Ronnie Schaefer, step-children, Chad Newell and Troy Newell. He is also survived by 6 brothers, 2 sisters, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents , 1 brother and 2 sisters.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation .
