Ronald K. Turner "Ron", 62, passed away May 20, 2021. He was born to Sherwood and Elaine Turner March 31, 1959 in Denver Colorado.
Ron is survived by his wife Rhonda, daughters, Christie, Lori, Brittany, and Stacey; grandchildren Victoria, Evan, Mandy, Miranda, Shawn, and Arianna; parents Woody and Elaine; sister Gloria (Gil); brother Kent; sister-in-law Shelley, and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He is proceeded in death by his brother, Rick.
As a child and teen, Ron loved cars and motorcycles, hanging out with friends and siblings, and working with his grandfather. He married Rhonda on November 6, 1976. Together they had four daughters, four granddaughters, and two grandsons. He received his degree in Construction Technology and enjoyed his job as a Facilities Manager for the CU Denver Anschutz Medical Campus for 20 plus years. He served on the board of his Homeowner's Association and was well known and loved in his neighborhood.
A few of Ron's favorite things were the mountains, eagles, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, attending car shows with his dad, and spending time with his family. He was planning to retire this past April 2021, and his dream was to own land and ride ATVs with his grandkids.
Everyone who met Ron was his friend. He was a fun-loving jokester, always coming up with rhyming songs and sayings that made us all laugh. His idol was Santa Claus. He loved Christmas and made the season extra special for his grandkids by taking them on sleigh rides or searching for the perfect gift for all. He will always be remembered for his kindness.
If you are attending his services on June 4, please wear blue in Ron's honor.
