Ronald Lee Watt was born on September 6, 1946, in Denver and passed into Heaven on May 3, 2023. He was the youngest of five children born to Harry and Mabel Watt. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Pat, brother Norman, and his first wife Karen.
Ron graduated from Lincoln High School and attended college briefly but soon entered the plumbing trade as an apprentice. Through continued training and additional schooling, he became certified as a Master plumber and spent the rest of his over 40-year-career in plumbing construction working on projects such as DIA, Bronco Stadium, Pepsi Center, and various hospitals installing med-gas hook-ups. Ron was proud to be a part of Plumber's Local 03 union throughout his career.
At age 20 Ron married Karen Bishop and they had two children, Tammy and Michael. In order to provide more money for the young family, in the winter months Ron would often get up a t2:00 a.m. to plow snow from parking lots before going to his day job. During this time he was also going to school in the evenings.
One of the family's favorite activities was 4-wheeling in the Rocky Mountains and for years was associated with 4-wheeling clubs. Ron also enjoyed photography and taking pictures of wild flowers in the mountains.
In 1992 Ron met and married Sharon Williamson. They continued to go 4-wheeling but they also enjoyed traveling to Europe and the Caribbean islands. Ron and Sharon Made serving God their priority and have been active at Canyon's Community Church since 2015. Ron, though very ill with cancer, insisted on being in church on Easter Sunday.
