It is with heavy hearts, we share the unexpected passing of our sister.
Ronda J. Walter was born on September 5, 1942, in Grand Island, Nebraska. She graduated from Adams City High School in 1960, and then she was off to pursue her dreams. Ronda exemplified dedication, and tenacity. She went on to have a long, successful career in the oil industry, and retired from Amoco Production Company in 1992.
Ronda then spent many more years working for Graebel Companies, Inc., until her "official"
retirement in 2009. She leaves behind a legacy of hard work, and integrity that will be remembered by her many colleagues, and friends.
Yes, Ronda was a hard worker, but she also liked to have fun. Sis loved music, concerts, cowboys, horses, baseball, and all animals. She was a voracious reader, with a variety of interests in many kinds of books. She followed the Colorado Rockies religiously each summer. The loves of Ronda's life were her many dogs over the years… Cinder (her first pet as a child), Saki, Reggie, Nick, Tyler, Griffin, and Archie.
We are forever grateful as a family, for her loving care of Tim over the past 13 years.
Ronda is survived by siblings; Tim McPherson, Joni Baumgart, and Tom McPherson; her beloved dog Archie; and 3 nephews, and 2 nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Donna McPherson, and brother Jim Ailes.
