Roosevelt Reeder

Roosevelt Reeder passed away at age 87 years old. He was born on July 15, 1932 in Rondo Arkansas. At the age of 5, he along with his sister Ruthie moved to Gary, Indiana. Roosevelt joined the United States Navy and served for 4 years. After honorably serving, he transitioned to working for Gary US Steel. He worked for a total of 44 years, with only missing 12 days of work before he decided to retire. He then moved to Denver, Colorado with his wife and son. After the unexpected passing of his wife (Dolly) he lived another 5 years in Denver, Colorado at the time of his passing. Services will be held on June 18,
2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home at 9:00 am. He will then be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery located 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236.

Roosevelt will be buried with his beautiful wife Dolly. He had 3 children, Sherrell, Ronald and Kennis. He had 4 grandchildren, LaRon (Indiana), Keneesha (Alabama), TaRon (New Mexico) and ShaPri (Georgia). He only had 1 great-grandchild, Sebastian (Alabama). He had 2 nieces, Katie Jackson (Illinois) and Alonee Lewis (Indiana), 2 nephews Raymond Jackson Sr (Indiana) and Billy Milsap (Indiana). He had a number of special friends, Willie Heard (Indiana), Joe Mays (Indiana deceased), Mr Parker (Indiana), Ted Styles (Indiana deceased),
