Rosa Soon Fah, cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024, in Lakewood, Colorado, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 3, 1952, in the vibrant locale of Puerto Rico but raised in Brooklyn New York. Rosa brought joy and light into the world with her infectious laughter and radiant smile. Her happiness and energy were legendary; friends and family affectionately nicknamed her "Giggles" for the way her laughter brightened the darkest of days.
Rosa had an extraordinary gift for making every moment a celebration. Her home was often filled with the music of her favorite dances, as she cherished the rhythm of life and loved to move to the beat of Jamaican Reggae music. The energetic spark in her personality was matched only by her love for shopping—she took pride in hunting down the best deals and reveling in the joy of bargaining. Whether navigating colorful marketplaces or exploring arts and crafts, Rosa’s creativity knew no bounds as she found joy in coloring and creating beautiful things.
As a devoted wife to Tenyou, Rosa's heart was always full. Together they built a family grounded in love and laughter. Their three children—Trecia, Chris and George, —found in her a constant source of warmth and wisdom. Grandma Rosa shaped the lives of her six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, infusing their worlds with her bright spirit and love. Each visit to her home was an adventure filled with giggles, stories, and shared moments that they will forever hold dear.
Though we have lost her physical presence, Rosa’s vibrant spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to experience her love. Her laughter will echo in the memories she leaves behind, and her legacy will inspire and uplift her family for generations to come. Rosa Soon Fah will always be remembered not only as a mother and a grandmother but as a beacon of joy and laughter, whose love was as boundless as her contagious spirit.
