Rudy A. Duran, 69, passed away September 16, 2009 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Husband of the late Lorraine Duran. Father of Margie "Char" Duran, Rosanna (Malcolm) Thomas, Rudy (Gina) Duran and Ronnie Duran. Grandfather of Candice Villarreal, TJ Villarreal, Monica Montoya, Raymond Thomas, Bobbi Thomas, Clarisa Duran, Heather Duran and Rudi Duran. Great-grandfather of Jaedon Weeks, Tonie Holguin, Eli Thomas and Alexia Aray. Brother of Andy Duran, Elicia Salazar, Lillian Salazar, Benny Duran and the late Billy Duran. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing, Wednesday from 4:00PM until 8:00PM, with Recitation of the Rosary, Wednesday at 7:00PM both at the Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday 10:30AM at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 2190 So. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, with Msgr. Leo Horrigan, Celebrant.
Interment, Thursday 12:00PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area / Shelter "A", with Military Honors by the U. S. Army and the All Veterans Honor Guard.
