On this day we mourn and celebrate the passing of our mother, Sally Millicent Ellegood.

Sally was born in Montpelier, OH on 09/24/1934. She married her husband of 68 years, Robert Merrill Ellegood in Decatur, IL on January 26, 1952.

She leaves behind her children, Mike (Brenda) Ellegood, Dave (Debbie )Ellegood, John (Christine) Ellegood, Joe (Diane) Ellegood, Mary (Michael) Oberts, nieces Cathy (Terry) Knepper, Cindy (Denny) Strohl, Kelly (David) Daker, nephew Steve Dickson, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Our Mother was full of faith and kindness with an abundance of Love. She loved being a mom to us and our friends, baking, sewing, gardening, and listening to her family’s music. She instilled in each one of us the love of music. She had the voice of an angel as we sang around the family piano.

She will be dearly missed.

Our father, Robert “Bud” Ellegood (05/17/32 – 02/20/2020), predeceased her in death.

She will be laid to rest at Mepkin Abbey, Moncks Corner, SC with our father.
