Sammie "Papo" Vasquez

Sammie Vasquez “Papo”, son of the late Mike and Rachel Vasquez was born March 5, 1943 in Denver, Colorado. He grew up in Fort Lupton, Co alongside his seven brothers and eight sisters.

He was married to Priscilla Vasquez September 24, 1967 in Denver, Co. This union of 60 years was blessed with two children, Julie and Joella; seven grandchildren, Samuel, Janae, Charity, Brittany, Mikey, Elario and Leuxie; and twelve great grandchildren.

Sam was a faithful believer in God and would pray for a good life for his family. Sam always put his family first. He was hard working and very kind hearted. He took pride in all his endeavors throughout his life.

He was loved and respected by many and will be missed by all.
