Sandra Blair BRUCKMAN, 51, of Bailey passed away March 13, 2002 after an eight year battle with cancer, in Wheat Ridge, CO. She was born January 26, 1951, in, Freeport, TX to James Barron Blair, Sr. and Ima Lanier, the second of three children (Charlotte, Sandra and James Jr.). They lived in Clute, Texas until Sandra was in the 5th grade when they moved to Arvada, Colorado. Sandra fraduated from Arvada public schools, then went to Wayland Baptist College in Plainview, Texas. She returned to Arvada before graduating and married Clark Davidson, producing Robyn and Shannon, two fine girls. After that marriage failed, she married Charles E. Bruckman on August 28, 1987. Their children Robyn, Shannon, Stacey, Steven and Stuart gave them; Nikolas, Chrystal, Angeline, Lela, Brittanny, Andrea, Miranda, Tiffany, Mitchell and Trevor as loving Grandchildren. Sandra was involved in the Park County community where she worked mostly in the background. Her occupation was Home Maker. She Married Charles Elliott Bruckman on August 28, 1987 in Lakewood, Colorado. She loved sewing, gardening, cooking, history, camping and fishing. Sandra was also a published writer, her stories were published in The Fence Post, Fairplay Flume, High Timber Times, Canyon Courier and several others. She stopped writing and her other activities when she was diagnosed with Cancer. When she was diagnosed with cancer she was told she had six months to a year, at most, to live. She defied that prediction and fought cancer with her faith in Jesus Christ, who guided her to a combination of alternative medicine and modern medicine, giving her eight more years of life. She was a member of Park Woman Republicans, Friendship Baptist Church and choir.

Grandchildren: Miranda, Tiffany, Mitchell, Trevor
Sister: Charlotte Reeder, Littleton, CO
Brother: James Blair, Jr. Katy, TX
Mother: Beverley Blair, Arvada, CO
Father: James "JB" Blair, Sr. Arvada, CO

Services were held Monday, March 18, 2002 at Friendship Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M.

Burial will be at Horn Cemetery, Bailey, Colorado
