Sandra Kanzenbach

Sandy Kanzenbach, 60 years old, passed away October 16th from years of battling 2 forms of cancer.

She worked until a month before her passing. Her work was important to her and it was something she enjoyed. She was making diamond paintings in her spare time as well, right up to the end. She loved making things for the people in her life, and it was something she enjoyed sharing with others. Sandy was the definition of a fighter, but she did it with such kindness and grace. When those close to her would ask how they could help, she would immediately ask them what they needed. As a young woman, Sandy loved to travel and passed that on to her daughter, along with her love of music.

She is survived by her Daughter Jessica Kanzenbach, as well as her siblings Sharon Gunther, Steve Shaffer, and William Shaffer. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Jeannie Shaffer.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Texas Wolfdog Project & Shelter (24847 Weeren Rd, Montgomery, TX 77316) as this was a place she would donate to often and was close to her heart.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 5th at 4pm and will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Aurora, CO.
