Sandra Magyar

Sandra Jean Magyar, "Sandy" to friends, "Sasha" to her husband and family, went peacefully to God at age 63. She was a nurse in open heart surgery before retiring to care for her children, and served many years as a volunteer for the Junior Symphony Guild Designer Showhouse. She is survived by her husband of more than 42 years John, her beloved brother Jim, her cousin and confidante Nancy, her children Christopher and Kathryn, and her grandson Jack. Services will be held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church at 11:30 AM on Thursday, January 27. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Thomas More Building Fund (stthomasmore.org) or Porter Hospice (porterhospicefoundation.org)
