Scott Keith Johnson

Scott Keith Johnson passed away on February 11, 2019.

He was born Sept 24, 1965 in Hugo, Colorado and he grew up in Byers/Strasburg area. Scott attended Strasburg High School and then United Auto Workers for Auto Mechanic. Scott worked as an Auto Mechanic for various shops.

Then, his first child, Scotty, was born. Scott married DeeAnna on July 24, 1994. Their daughter, Lynne was born and passed away on Aug 10, 1994.

In April 1995, the Johnsons moved to Jacksonville, FL so DeeAnna could work for Applebees. The family then moved to Nashville, TN for DeeAnna's work.

While in Nashville, son Keith was born. The Johnsons lived for there 2 years before moving back to Colorado. While in Colorado, daughter AnnaMarie and son Christian were born.

DeeAnna then took a job with United Airlines. During that time, Scott got to take a trip to the country he always wanted to visit, Australia. DeeAnna's dad, Bob, and Scott rode The Ghan train from Darwin to Adelaide and the Indian Pacific Train into Sydney. Scott had many mementos from the trip.

His last shop was Fairway Auto Service where Peter, the owner, taught him how to make Dolmas, a Greek dish of stuffed grape leaves. Bob planted 5 grape vines in the back yard and Scott enjoyed making Dolmas for everyone.

Scott had a Stage 4 heart attack in Oct 2015, making him unable to work. He stayed home, helping with household chores and enjoyed playing video games.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
