Sheila Ann Shupe, lovingly referred to as Ann, 75, of Littleton, Colorado, tragically passed away the morning of February 4th, 2019.
Ann was born December 31st, 1943, in Littleton, CO. She grew up in Denver, graduating from Alameda High School in 1962 where her bubbly personality emerged as a cheerleader. Ann enjoyed experiencing new places, living in Montana, Nebraska, the Dakotas and more as a young adult. She spent her most recent years in Littleton, Colorado, and attended The Bridge Church at Bear Creek.
Ann retired from a career with the Bureau of Reclamation in the late 1990s, then quickly filled her newfound free time by participating in her local Church's youth services, spending time with her five grandchildren, gardening, baking, singing, painting and sewing.
Ann made friends wherever she went, from her favorite Danish bakery, to the local Mexican restaurant, to the Georgetown Christmas shop where she bought ornaments for her family every year. She shared her love for her family and ever-growing number of friends through long, tight hugs and wonderful back massages. Oh, how those generous massages will be missed!
Ann's favorite things to do were anything involving her family, whom she kept in close touch with. Ann is survived by her elder brother Bill, two children Kevin (Deana) Shupe and Robin (Craig) Courtney, and five grandchildren Taryn, Shaina, Alec, Khenra, and Mesha. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by mother Christine Thomas and father Remington Caldwell.
