On Sunday January, 30 2022 Shirley Benedict passed away peacefully.
Shirley was born on December 15, 1958, to LeRoy and Mary (Hoffman) Henn and spent her childhood in the Seymour, WI area. She and her son Ryan moved to Colorado with her family and soon after had daughter Caitlin.
She married the love of her life, Brian Benedict, in 1989 and a year later they welcomed twins Heather and Kiefer.
Shirley was a kind and loving woman, and her family was her greatest joy. She enjoyed jobs in the service industry before she took some years off to spend time as a full-time mom helping with PTA, Girl and Boy scouts. She went back to work as assistant manager at Ace Hardware. Shirley loved to cook, bake and play card games with her family. She enjoyed many family camping trips and delighted in working in her garden growing flowers and vegetables.
Shirley was preceded in death by her soulmate and husband, Brian Benedict, father, LeRoy Henn and mother, Mary Henn. She is survived by four children Ryan Henn, Caitlin Henn, Kiefer Benedict and Heather (Stephen) George. Siblings Mark (Connie) Henn and Gary Henn and her best friends Patty and Craig Sharbonno.
A celebration of Shirley's life will be held at a later date.
