Shirley Koonse, 86, of Thornton, CO passed away at home on November 11, 2019.
Shirley was born in Nebraska on February 17, 1933 to Orlie and Lenora Chapman.
She married Henry Koonse Jr. and had 3 children with him. Terri (Greg) Burns, Sharon Winkler, Randy (Donna) Koonse Long.
Shirley was a housewife and then began working in the bowling industry for years (Northglenn and Belleview Bowl).
Shirley loved her family and is survived by 3 children, 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grand children, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Orlie and Lenora, husband Henry, brothers Duane, Blaine and Bud.
There will no services per Shirley's request. Any donations can be made to Tru Hospice in Boulder, CO.
