Shirley Planche passed away on the morning of Friday September 2,2022, IN Lafayette, CO.
Born as Shirley June Lanahan on May 30, 1933, in Clarks Summit, PA. Shirley was raised by a strong
catholic family and was the fourth of five children. After graduating in 1951 from Tunkhannock High
School, Shirley married and became a mother of four to David, Daniel, Holly and Lorena. Later becoming
a proud grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 15. She moved to Colorado in 1950, residing in
Arvada, Colorado for the last 59 years. She was active in her community as well as her beloved Prime Timers
group, and Eagles Club. Shirley will be remembered for her strong faith, witty humor, and for her love of
being a grandmother. Everyone who knew and loved Shirley is welcome to pay respect during her
viewing on September 14, 2022 at 9:30AM or her funeral service at 10:00 AM St. Jude Catholic Church Community Center
