Stella A. Potter

Stella was born August 17, 1919 in New Haven, Connecticut to immigrant parents. Her mother, Aniela Wisnieski was from Poland and her father was born in Minsk, Russia. The family moved to Buffalo, New York when Stella was 8 years old. She married Earl H. Potter in June, 1939. Their first child, Earl, was born in October 1940. Their second child, Linda, was born in October, 1943. They moved to Aurora, Colorado in 1979. Her husband passed away in December 1989. Stella worked in the cafeteria at Hinkley High School in Aurora. Her brother, Walter, preceded her in death. She is survived by another brother, Henry, 2 children, 4 grandchildren. She is also survived by 9 great grand children ranging in age from 10 to 21 years. Her cremains will go to Elm Cemetery in Kenmore, New York later this year.
