Age 81, of Lakewood, Colorado passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nash Gurule. She is survived by her children: Marsha (Robert) Vargas, Marie (Rudy) Vargas, Loretta (Gil) Diaz, Mandy (Dave) Gurule-Lobato, Merlinda Mestas, Nash (Cheryl) Gurule; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and special friend, Viola Romero.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, February 22, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Newcomer Family Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 10:00
AM at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3801 W. Ohio Ave., Denver, Colorado 80219. Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
Donations may be made in honor of Stella Gurule to: Wellspring Senior Foundation, 333 S. Eaton Place, Lakewood, CO 80226.
