Stella Maree Marker was born September 29th, 1923. She passed away
peacefully on December 4th. She lived in Aurora with her Husband, Ed and
two children; Eddie and Karen. Stella lived a full and interesting life. She
was a housewife, an environmentalist, a creative soul, an avid reader and
an amazing Mother, Wife and Friend. Over her 99 years she forged many
rich, meaningful friendships.
Stella is survived by her Daughter; Karen, Grandson; Harrison. Son-In-Law,,
Jim and Daughter-In-Law; Roxanne.
Stella participated in rock hunting, hiking, drawing, ceramics, doll making,
antiquing, bird watching and treasure hunting at thrift stores. She belonged
to Dig and Dream (a garden club) and was the President of Adams Arapahoe
Women's Club. She played an important part in Grow with the Platte and
Confluence Park. Stella looked forward to attending church on Sunday. She
loved Indian pottery, jewelry and art. Stella relished spending time with her
Grandson; Harrison. They had a very special relationship.
She loved the West and Southwest region. The Rocky Mountains were her
happy place. Thrilled when she would spot a Deer, Big Horn Sheep, Moose,
Birds, Fox and other wildlife.
