Steven John Burdin, age 65 passed away unexpectedly at his home in Aurora, CO on June 10, 2020. Steve was born on September 23, 1954 and grew up in Aurora. He attended Hinkley High School before being drafted into the Navy in 1972. He served from 1972-1975. After leaving the Navy Steve was an Aviation Mechanic and traveled extensively around the world, making friends wherever he went. Most recently Steve worked for RTD as a Light Rail Mechanic.
Steve was preceeded in death by his mother, Brenda Burdin, and Special friend Lorraine (Sugar) Fletcher. He is survived by his Life Partner, Wendy, his sons Thomas and Kevin Burdin, Father Bobby Lee Burdin of Granby, CO, Sister Linda (Will) Herz of Durango, CO, Brother Brian Burdin (Shelly) of Granby, CO, several nieces and nephews, and his faithful dog Starbuck and Kitty Cat.
Steve will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Steve's life will be held later this summer.
