Susie Gallegos

Velma "Susie" Gallegos was born in Monte Vista, Colorado on January 19, 1956 to Della Quintana. She passed away on July 18, 2018 in Denver, CO. Susie was a beloved family member in a large family. She helped her mother raise her five younger siblings. Susie always took care of her mother, Della. Anywhere you found Della, there was Susie. Susie and her brother, Max, were great caretakers for Della in her last years.
Susie was such a fun-loving soul that had many friends and acquaintances. She enjoyed laughing and having a few drinks with everybody. Susie loved Elvis and her crime shows she would DVR. Susie was an avid fan who loved her Broncos.
She was always up for any kind of event to attend. She was very organized and you could count on her for anything. She took pride in her job. She always wanted to make sure that everybody around her was taken care of. Her family will never forget all of her unique attributes and cares. Susie truly had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of her back.
Susie is preceded in death by her grandparents Jose and Margarita Gallegos, and beloved mother, Della Quintana. She is survived by her sister Teresa "Terri" Morales (Robert) Brothers: Thomas Quintana (Linda), Augustine "Chris" Quintana (Dawn), Max Quintana, Ray Quintana (Jacque). Nieces and nephews: Brandy, Isaac, Denita, Colleen, Robert Jr., Christina, Victoria, Kayla, Analisia, Max Jr., Julia, Raeann, Christopher, Aaron, Derek, Nicholas, Lorenzo, Gabriel, Merseyes, Julian, Isabel, Isaac Jr, Angelo, Aniyus , Amorie, Ray Jr. and Riley.
