Teresa is survived by her husband Gary Eastridge, and children Stephanie, Paul, Craig, son-in-law Josh Cody, daughter-in-law Mary Eastridge, granddaughters Ashley and Alyssa Cody, and many others. Teresa's love for her husband and children always came first. They had a wonderful life and always spent time as a family.
Teresa and Gary's house always had an open door. The couple was always generous with all they had. Hardly one weekend went by without a guest or two who wanted to drop in for a drink and a chat. Teresa was a warm-hearted, sincere, loving person. Her personality was outgoing, outstanding and unforgettable. Her laugh and sense of humor alone made it worthwhile, just to know her.
Teresa was a person who everyone liked right away; and was the most wonderful person that we knew. She was not only a great mother to her children, but to anyone who took the time to get to know her. She was called "mom" by everyone because she took the time to love them like her own. Teresa would always be on hand for her kids, and was not only a mother to them, but also a good friend. She had a gentle touch was not only felt by the hand, but also heart.
Ashley and Alyssa considered Grandma Teresa and Grandpa Gary's home to be their own. They loved spending everyday with their Grandma while their mother and father were at work. Grandma Teresa was a very special part of their life. They will never be able to forget her or her undying love that she showed for them.
She was considered a sister, rather than a friend. She was a forgiving and patient woman who was always there to turn to for advice. She touched the lives of everyone. She was truly an angel sent from heaven and we can thank God for that everyday!
Teresa was the best wife that Gary could have asked for. He loved her so deeply, and she made his life complete. They were truly 'one'. He will always cherish her memory and she will live in his heart forever.
Teresa was the strength that most people depended on. She had so much love to give and never held any back. She always thought of others before herself.
Teresa will always be a part of who we all are. She will never be forgotten, and will be missed more than words could ever express.
You never said I'm leaving
You never said good-bye
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why
A million times we needed you,
A million times we cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still
In our hearts you hold a place,
That none could ever fill
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
A part of our hearts
have gone with you,
That can never be replaced
A look, a sign, a laugh
I need
Or just to touch your face
They say that time heals
all pain and sorrow,
And helps us to forget
But time so far has only proved
How much we miss you yet.
