Terry M. Lawson
1943 – 2007
Terry Lawson passed away on July 18 leaving many grieving family members and friends. He will be dearly missed by those who remember his sense of humor, generous spirit and complete faith that he could win his final battle. Terry was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He was born on April 14, 1943 in Luck, Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1965 and later earned a Masters Degree from the University of Colorado. Terry worked briefly for the State of Wisconsin and after moving to Denver worked at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center as Vice Chancellor for Financial Affairs. After leaving the Health Sciences Center Terry went on to found his own company, Endur All Technologies Inc. Terry was Chairman and CEO for the last 12 years. Terry's legacy is that he developed and brought to market a new state of the art building material, changing the roofing industry. Terry had many interests but his passion was golf. He started playing as a young boy in Luck, Wisconsin and was on the golf team in high school where he competed for the State Championship. He joined Hiwan Golf Club in 1987 where he carried a single digit handicap.
He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, loving Mother Edna of Luck, Wisconsin, children David Hoskinson (Janis) of Superior, Colorado and Paul J. Hoskinson of Denver; siblings, Sandy Solheim (John) of Schofield, Wisconsin and Jim Lawson (Patty) of Bozeman, Montana; nieces and nephews; Mary Solheim, Michele Geary, Kathy Kowalke, Susan Solheim, Mike Solheim, Sara Lawrence, Becky Klima and Adam Lawson. He was preceded in death by his father Meredith (Bud) Lawson.
There will be a celebration of Terry's life at Hiwan Golf Club in Evergreen on Sunday, June 29 at 2:00 P.M.
