Terry Anne Wilhoft, 85, of Denver, Colorado, went to her reward in Heaven in February 12. 2022.
She was born in Denver, Colorado to Everett and Dorothy McNassor on January 10, 1937. Terry graduated Cum Laude from Regis College, with a degree in Education and a minor in Art, all while raising four children. Later, she earned a master's degree from Lesley College. She taught first and fifth grade at F. M. Day Elementary School in Westminster, CO for many years.
Terry's Christian faith was of the utmost importance to her. As a way of sharing that faith, she was a summer camp counselor at Black Forest Baptist Assembly for many years with former spouse Fred Wilhoft, Jr., where she was known as "Mom Terry." She also directed children's church choirs and was a faithful singer in the choir at every church she attended. She loved spending time in her beloved Rocky Mountains, especially at CFO camp just outside of Estes Park.
She was active in Eastern Star for 50 years, holding several offices in that organization. Terry was an avid Denver Bears, Broncos and Rockies fan.
She is survived by her children, Fred (Kathy), Debbie (Dennis), Jonathan, and daughter-in-law, Karissa; grandchildren, Nathan, Jancy, BreAnne, Aaron, Christian, Violet and Liesl; siblings, Carol, Karen, Susan and John, as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022, at 11:00 am at The Crossings Church, 3501 W. 104th Ave., Westminster, CO 80031.
Memorial donations may be made to Inspire Ministry, MaxFund of Denver or Stout Street Foundation, a charity close to Terry's heart.
