Theotis "Tj" Lewis Jr.

Theotis "TJ" Lewis Jr. was born 8 March 1979 to the late Mr. Theotis "T" Lewis Sr. and the late Mrs. Teresa A. Lewis. On Tuesday, 4 April, 2023, our Lord and Savior called unto TJ after a well fought and cherished life. Surrounded by family, TJ passed away at home in Aurora, CO at 44 years of age.

A native of Columbus, GA, TJ graduated from Hardaway High School in 1997. He attended several colleges, technical and on-the-job training courses prior to being elevated to multiple managerial positions. He had most recently taken on the role as a Medical Courier with LabCorp in Lakewood, CO. He had a passion for coaching youth sports, mentoring young men and women and always had a word of advice to impart. If you did not want to hear the truth…seek advice elsewhere!

Through everything he was challenged with in life, TJ never gave up! He fought until his physical body could no longer keep up with his will to endure and his extraordinary spirit. God has called home a beautiful soul and he has earned due rest. To know him…was to love him!

TJ is survived by his four siblings: Damien "Tony" Maddox (Tiffany) of Aurora, CO, Theodora Lewis-Walker, of Union Springs AL, James Otis Lewis of Boston, MA and Joe Edward Clark of Birmingham, AL and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dearly cherished relatives, loved ones and friends.
