Thomas James Loveday, 53, of Parker, CO went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
He was born in Danbury, CT on August 16, 1967 to Thomas Joseph Loveday and Judith Ellen Brooks.
While attending Penn State University he met and married his wife, June Ann Atwell. Immediately after graduation they moved to Colorado to start their life. Their first residence was a tent in Cherry Creek State Park while they searched for jobs.
Tom began his career as a loan underwriter at Vectra Bank and over 30 years he progressed to the Managing Director of Compliance at Charles Schwab in Lone Tree, CO.
Tom was an elder and active member at Summit Church in Centennial, CO and had his hands in pretty much every piece of the pie there. He was a true servant of God. Tom was an Eagle Scout, as is his dad and his son.
Tom was one of the most genuine people you would have ever met. When he asked you a question, it was because he truly cared about the answer and he would look you in the eye and listen. He was always joyful and positive. He came to Christ later in life, and then, never met a person he couldn't share Christ's love with. He cherished time spent with his family and friends, loved to teach anyone all that he knew, no matter how trivial or complicated the task. He enjoyed cooking for his family, smoking meats, camping, hiking, hunting, photography and traveling.
Tom is survived by his wife of 32 years, June Loveday, his 27 yr old son, Tyler Loveday and his spouse, Gabi, his 25 yr old daughter, Hailey Campos and her spouse, Chad. He is also survived by his father Thomas Loveday (Joan), his mother Judith Peterson (Greg), his sister Karen Kazzi (John), his stepsister Kim Pereira (Rich) and aunts, uncles, a niece and 5 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to: thesummit.online/give/ ,for dispersal to charities of the family's choice, including one to a young men's mentoring program. Alternatively, checks can be mailed to Summit Church, 9250 E Costilla Ave, suite 425, Greenwood Village, CO 80112, for the same purpose.
