Passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010. Tom was born on December 29, 1943 in Bloomington, Illinois. He was the son of John and Margaret (Grethey) Travers. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Rosemarie - "The love of his life," his daughter, Heather (John) Simmons - whom he adored, of Whittington, Illinois; and 3 grandchildren: Amanda, Aaron and Maria who were a total delight to him; a brother, John (Camilla) Travers of Springfield, Missouri.
As the younger brother, Tom always looked up to John and the two had grown even closer as the years passed.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sue Bailey.
Tom served from 1963-1967 in the United States Air Force.
