"I have played many characters in my life, my stage has been living. The world my audience, my family my support cast. I have been a son, a best friend, a lover, a husband, a father and grandfather. I have experienced joy and happiness, sadness and pain. I witnessed the miracle of life when my children were born. I witnessed the loss of life when my parents died. I have gone to war and witnessed the death of thousands. The memory of their faces etched into my brain forever. I have witnessed history in the making, survived World War II. I have witnessed beauty in a sunrise, on a beach with the sand between my toes. I have eaten ice cream in the rain in Paris. I have made love to a beautiful woman, my wife, who shared her life with me. Together we created a short film consisting of different acts. Characters have come and gone throughout the course of life playing itself out. I would not edit one scene of my short film for it would alter my character."
