Born March 11, 1922 in Denver, Colorado. He passed from this life November 3, 2009. Survived by his devoted wife of 63 years Irene; son Thomas S., Kelley; daughters: Linda Engel, Jeri Kelley, Jennifer Blankenship, plus five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Tom was a graduate of Denver's South High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He received a civil engineering degree from the University of Colorado following the war. Employed by Meridith Drilling for most of his career. He was instrumental in the structural construction of the Denver area. He was proud of his contribution to the development of Denver and was well thought of by his peers. He was a leader in the construction industry and an active member of the Colorado Contractors Association where he is a past president. He shall be missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held for Tom on Saturday, November 14, 2009, 2:00 PM at Arvada Covenant Church. The church is located at 5555 Ward Rd, Arvada, Colorado 80002.
