Thomas Allen Purvis

Thomas A Purvis, 87, of Lakewood, CO went home to be with Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, March 14, 2024. Thomas Purvis was born in Kokomo, Indiana to Pastor Stanley L Purvis and Irene Marie (Floyd) Purvis.

Thomas known as Mr. Tom; he was surrounded by his wife Barbara L Purvis of 67 years. they raised 5 amazing children Debbie DuPree, Thomas Purvis Jr, Loretta Nelson, Barbie Purvis Torrez, Denise Weaver and 2 buddies Jenna Torrez and Trinity Dias (numerous) Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Thomas also served in the AirForce in 1954. He was CEO and owner of Purvis Enterprises Snow Removal and Lot Sweeping. Tom and Barbara enjoyed many BBQs and spending time with their Family over may weekends and Holiday's their main focus was Family. Tom like rebuilding his classic Show Cars (TB's) and was member of many clubs. He also raised and raced Pigeons as hobby. Loved Country music and thought he was Kenny Rogers at times. Tom was also known as the Kokomo Kid, he like his motorcycles. He also like taking drives through the Mountains and stopping by Lake and having lunch and doing some fishing. Had many projects with his son, seemed like our house was getting remodeled all the time. (LOL)

Overall, he was the best Father that kids could have, he loved all his grandchildren like they were his own. The most important person was his wife Barbara, who was the love and soulmate of his life.
