Thomas Alan Smith

Thomas (Tom) Alan Smith of Denver Colorado, age 63, passed away in his sleep on January 22, 2022.
He was born to the late Paul (aka Dave) Smith and mother Marion Smith, July 21, 1958, in Terre Haute, IN. Tom graduated from Terre Haute South Vigo in 1977 and received his undergraduate degree and Master's degree from Indiana State University in 1982.
He married Lynda (Livvix) Smith whom he loved very much, in 2019. He lived in Katy, TX; Brazil, IN; Pueblo, CO before arriving in Denver, CO. He was a member at St Andrews United Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch.
Tom's work career included being a school teacher, construction superintendent, Manager at Columbia House in both Terre Haute and Pueblo. He also did some side work at some bike stores doing a hobby that he loved.
Tom is survived by his children Tommi (Adam) Heim and grandsons Jackson and Ethan from Anchorage, AK; Maxwell Smith of Lone Tree, CO. He is also survived by brothers Larry (Marty) Smith of San Diego, CA; Ron (Debbie) Smith, Lima, OH; Tim Smith, Denver, CO and Bill (Rebecca) Smith of Aurora, CO. Additionally, he is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and great nephews.
In Tom's younger years, he enjoyed bike riding in Texas and Indiana, downhill skiing and hiking in the Colorado Mountains.
Per Tom's request there will only be a private family viewing and ceremony on February 4, 2022
