Thomas Lee (Tom) Van Stelle, 63, returned to his heavenly home on January 11, 2019. His family and his belief in God supported him in his cancer journey and ultimately gave him peace.
Tom was born to Richard & Virginia Van Stelle in Denver, Colorado on October 28, 1955. He had two brothers, Tim & Dave, and a sister, Sally.
Tom was blessed by his wonderful family. He married his best friend, Cheri Van Eps on August 3, 1974 in Denver, CO. Together they raised their three daughters, Sonya (Kendal), Dana, and Brooke (Mark). His joy was his 6 grandkids, Connor, Dylan, Kya, Maci, Kinley & Firaol. He was also blessed by his entire extended Van Stelle and Van Eps families.
Tom spent his career working and eventually owning Anema's Autobody. He loved his church, singing, motorcyles, camping, cars and watching his grandkids activities. Tom was a man of intimate details, impeccable workmanship, and thorough planning; no one did better research for family vacations or Amazon purchases; road trips for races and Studebaker meets were a specialty. He was always quick with a joke and made fast friends with everyone. He was a joy to sit and share stories and laughs with, and he loved friends and family fiercely. Tom could have an intimidating presence before you got to know him, but his loving, kind, and thoughtful handwritten notes to his wife, daughters, and grandchildren will be treasured. He is loved and missed, and there will be a "Monster" sized hole in our family forever, but we celebrate that he is at peace and healed in heaven.
