Tia Nicole Aniston Marquez

Tia Marquez, 53, of Thornton, entered into eternal life on March 20, 2018. Tia is survived by her parents David and Sara, sister Mitzie, daughter Erica and son Anthony, five granddaughters: Jayla, Janeah, Amaya, Aaliya, and Ayva and nephew Brian. She is preceded in death by grandparents Jack and Tina Maestas.

Tia was born on November 21, 1964 in Denver and graduated from Jefferson County Public Schools. Tia's greatest pride was the Auto Detail Shop she owned and operated for many years. She moved to Panama City, Florida in 2007.

After becoming extremely ill Tia moved back home to Denver in June of 2017. Being home gave her the opportunity to spend time with her family. She absolutely adored her granddaughters and was so happy she was here for the birth of her youngest granddaughter, Ayva. Brian, her nephew gave her lots of love every day and she loved when he showed her his latest video game accomplishment and dance moves. Tia was an avid Bronco and New York Yankee fan. She watched every game and went to as many games as possible.

Tia missed having to leave her German Shepard "Smokey" her "Bestest Buddy" as she called him in Florida.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the ALS Association in memory of Jack Maestas, 10855 Dover St., Westminster, CO 80021.

Services are scheduled for Monday, April 9th, Holy Cross Catholic Church, 9371 Wigham St, Thornton, CO 80229. Rosary at 10:30 followed by mass at 11:00, reception to follow in church hall.

Tia will be laid to rest in a private burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery next to her beloved grandparents.
