Tillie Sainz

Tillie Sainz, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, peacefully met her maker Jesus Christ on December 15, 2024, at the age of 94, in Arizona. Born on November 10, 1930, in Colorado, Tillie was a vibrant and joyful spirit who touched the hearts of all who knew her. Her laughter was infectious, and her zest for life was evident in everything she did.

Even in her final moments, Tillie stayed true to herself by making tortillas, a delicious testament to her love for cooking, particularly her well-known specialty that delighted family and friends alike. She took immense pride in her culinary skills and often shared them with those lucky enough to gather around her table.

Tillie was described as a woman with a big heart who loved everybody, especially children. Her expressive nature revealed her emotions, whether she was joking with others or offering her honest opinions. Dependable and steadfast, she was always there for those in need, earning her a special place in the hearts of many.

Her proudest accomplishments undeniably included her strong Christian faith and her unwavering passion for children. A devoted mother to her children Phil, Phyllis, Edward, Larry, Albert, and JoAnn, Tillie's nurturing spirit extended to her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Each generation felt her loving embrace and the warmth of her heart, creating bonds that time could never sever.

Tillie will be lovingly remembered as she rejoins her loving husband Edward Sr., her son Larry, and her parents Albert and Esther in eternal peace. Her spirit lives on in the generations she cherished and shaped with her kindness and joy.

A viewing will be held on December 30, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Metro in Denver, CO, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at the same location starting at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery Staging area A. As family and friends gather to honor her cherished memory, they will celebrate a life richly lived, full of love, laughter, and heartfelt service to others.
