Tony Lynn Militello, 33, born to Richard and Dolly (Burgett) Militello on November 14, 1974 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, passed May 27, 2008 in Thornton, Colorado. She lived in Arvada, Colorado with her beloved life partner Kim Poland.
Tony was raised in Brighton, Michigan, where she spent her days waterskiing on the lake with her family and loved all kinds of motor sports. She graduated from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado where she studied Exercise Science and played basketball. Tony was an amazing athlete in every way. She enjoyed many activities and loved the outdoors.
Tony has many extended family members and friends who share cherished memories of Tony's kind heart, giving spirit, and ability to make you smile. You could see all of these wonderful qualities in Tony through her love for children and for the elderly. She gave with her whole heart and never asked for anything in return.
Memorial Services in Colorado for Tony Lynn Militello will be at the Westminster
Recreation Center Community Room, located on 104th and Sheridan, Westminster, Colorado 80031 on Saturday June 7th, 2008 at 11:00AM. There will be a BBQ and gathering following the service at the Cottonwood Park in Louisville, CO, located south of Boulder Road and Via Appia. Maps will be available at the service. ***PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN PLACE OF BBQ*** Please dress casual since we will be having fun at the park after the service - this is what Tony would want. There is limited seating at the park so feel free to bring chairs or blankets.
Memorials may be made in Tony's name at Key Bank. Funds from this account will also help create a foundation in Tony's name to raise mental health awareness in Colorado. Donations can be made at any Key Bank location in the country or sent to 4004 W. 61st Place Arvada, Colorado 80003. Make checks payable to "Tony Militello Memorial Trust".
